  • Remixpoint now holds only 1,506 Bitcoin, worth over $115 million
  • The company said the move was to clarify its investment strategy and improve capital efficiency

Japan-listed Remixpoint has sold every altcoin it held, leaving Bitcoin as its only cryptocurrency investment.

The company sold its Ether, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin on September 1. The total sale value came to around $5.5 million, generating a net gain of roughly $742,000.

Ether produced a $379,000 gain. Solana returned $311,000. XRP added about $72,000. Dogecoin was the exception, sold at a $21,000 loss against its fiscal-year opening book value.

Dogecoin Was the Only Losing Bet

Before the sale, Remixpoint held 2.8 million Dogecoin. It sold them for around $234,000, which was below the value at which the company carried the position at the start of its current fiscal year.

The loss is measured against fiscal-year book value, not the original purchase price.

The Dogecoin loss stands out because the token is well established in Japan. It has been traded on registered Japanese exchanges since 2022.

The Japan Virtual and Crypto Assets Exchange Association also began publishing an official Dogecoin/JPY reference price this year, placing it alongside Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, and Solana.

What Remixpoint Is Focusing on Now

Remixpoint said it reviewed market conditions and the risk-return profile of each asset before deciding to sell. The company said concentrating on Bitcoin aims to clarify its investment strategy and improve capital efficiency.

The company now holds approximately 1,506 Bitcoin, valued at over $115 million at current prices.

That makes Remixpoint Japan’s third-largest corporate Bitcoin holder, according to Bitcoin Treasuries data.

Remixpoint has also been earning returns from its Bitcoin holdings through lending. Between February 24 and August 31, the company earned 14.92 Bitcoin from lending activity, worth around $1 million.

The altcoin sale gain will be booked in the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027.

Before selling, Remixpoint held around 901 Ether, 13,920 Solana, 1.19 million XRP, and 2.8 million Dogecoin.

The combined market value of those holdings at the time of sale was approximately $5.3 million across all four tokens.

Remixpoint completed the full altcoin exit on September 1, with the company disclosure filed on Wednesday.

Bitcoin remains the company’s only crypto asset as of the date of filing.
