Cole also shared a chart showing the company’s Bitcoin purchases over the past year. The data showed more frequent acquisitions since March 2026. Strive has continued using capital raised through common and preferred stock sales to support its Bitcoin strategy.
Strive’s latest purchase came as other major companies announced new crypto acquisitions. Strive bought 4,603 BTC for about $370 million after pausing Bitcoin purchases for roughly two months. Its total holdings reached 845,050 BTC.
Bitmine also reported buying 53,501 ETH, taking its Ethereum holdings above 5.9 million ETH. Meanwhile, Bullish remained below Strive after reducing its Bitcoin position earlier this year. MARA Holdings still ranks ahead of Strive with 35,577 BTC.

How Strive Funds Its Bitcoin Strategy
Strive has relied on equity issuance to finance Bitcoin purchases. The company sells common shares under the ASST ticker and preferred shares under SATA. SATA carries a variable dividend and trades around a $100 par value.
Strive reported $171.9 million in cash after raising $17.1 million through at-the-market stock sales during the August 17 to 21 period. The company entered the corporate Bitcoin market through its 2025 merger with Asset Entities and later acquired Semler Scientific.
Semler Scientific’s medical device business, acquired through the deal, also reported quarterly revenue of $2.94 million. That figure was close to double the level reported a year earlier during the quarter.
The company reported a $257.6 million net loss for the quarter ended June 30. It linked most of the loss to Bitcoin price weakness and its investment in Strategy preferred shares. Cole has said Strive remains debt-free, has no margin requirements, and holds its Bitcoin without liens.
