I just recently started playing with layer 2 (Arbitrum).
It seems really not intuitive and too complex for the normal user. I am tech savy and found it too complicated. from L1 to L2 it is fine, but from L2 to L2, it needs to be documented somewhere.
For example. I wanted to transfer from Arbitrum to dYdX to save on deposit fees. And realized it is no longer possible.
Was possible before it seems on Orbiter finance, tutorial I followed:
