Kaspa is finally giving traders something to get excited about. After spending months moving lower inside a falling wedge, Kaspa has broken out, successfully retested the breakout zone, and pushed back above several important technical levels.
At the same time, the project has reclaimed a $1 billion market cap, trading volume has exploded higher, and nearly all of its maximum supply is already in circulation. Crypto analyst DeFi Oracle recently called KAS one of the cleanest charts in the market right now, pointing to a falling wedge breakout that has been developing since April.
The KAS price has broken out of a months-long downtrend
DeFi Oracle’s chart focuses on a falling wedge pattern that had been controlling the KAS price since April. Those patterns often appear near the end of downtrends, and in Kaspa’s case, buyers have finally managed to push through the upper trendline.
One of the cleanest charts in the books rn is $KAS 🔍
It has been traveling through a long falling wedge since April, and it has now finally broken it
And not just that, it also had a successful retest and is now pushing higher https://t.co/EwUweiVgQX pic.twitter.com/2xHgw9u8Ed

We had a look at the chart and found the KAS price trading around $0.035537, up 0.28% on the day. The breakout came after the price spent months printing lower highs and lower lows inside the wedge.
What makes the move more convincing is the retest that followed. After breaking out, the KAS price returned to the breakout area near $0.028, found support, and moved higher again. That retest confirmed buyers were willing to defend the level.
The next challenge is easy to spot. Resistance levels are stacked at $0.036, $0.038, and then the key psychological barrier at $0.04. Beyond that, the next targets sit at $0.042, $0.044, and $0.046. Support remains at $0.034, $0.032, and $0.03, with the breakout zone near $0.028 still acting as the line that buyers need to protect.
Kaspa technical indicators still lean bullish
The technical picture remains favorable even after the rally. We had a look at the KAS chart, and the price is around $0.03749 after a 4.14% move higher. Kaspa is also trading well above its 100-period SMA at $0.02994, giving buyers some breathing room.
Daily KAS chart analysis
The daily setup looks just as positive. The KAS price is above the 100-day SMA at $0.02902, keeping the broader trend in the buyers’ favor. Kaspa also broke through a key level near $0.026, known as a Break of Structure (BOS). This matters because the move took KAS above a level from its previous downtrend and gave the price a chance to establish a new upward trend.
Momentum is strong, but the RSI numbers call for a little caution. The 4-hour RSI is 67.46, close to the 70 overbought level. The daily RSI is higher at 75.56, which puts the market firmly in overbought territory. KAS can still climb from here, but some sideways action or a cooldown would not be surprising before the next big move.
4-hour KAS chart analysis
For now, the key battle is between $0.038 and $0.04. If buyers break above this zone and keep KAS above it, the next Fibonacci targets come in at $0.06256 and $0.07527.
Kaspa is back above a $1 billion market cap
The recovery is not only visible on the chart. BSCN reported that the KAS price reached around $0.0359 after climbing 17% in a single day.
Kaspa comes close to a $1 billion market cap after a 17% day
kaspa:native traded near $0.0359 on Monday, up around 30% across the week. The market cap currently sits at $994.5M, and volume rose to $50.12M, up almost 500% on the day.

Over the full week, KAS was up about 30%, giving the token a much stronger run than it had at the start of the move. Trading volume also jumped to $50.12 million, almost five times the previous day’s level. Kaspa’s market cap reached roughly $994.5 million during the move.
The wider market-cap figures put Kaspa at about $1.02 billion now, up from around $760 million earlier in the recovery. That puts KAS much closer to the $1 billion mark and gives the current recovery more weight.
Supply remains another important factor. Around 27.68 billion KAS are already circulating out of a maximum supply of 28.7 billion. That means roughly 96% of all coins have already been mined.
As issuance continues to decline over time, the amount of new KAS entering circulation keeps shrinking. If demand continues growing, that supply structure could become increasingly supportive for the KAS price.
Adoption and upgrades remain key for the next phase
Price action has improved, but Kaspa’s long-term story still depends on adoption. The network activated its Toccata hard fork on June 30, 2026, introducing covenants and zero-knowledge verification capabilities.
The next major milestones include the DAGKnight consensus upgrade and vProgs smart contracts. If developers begin building more applications around those upgrades, network activity could increase substantially.
There are already early signs of progress. Kasplex, Kaspa’s EVM-compatible Layer-2 network, surpassed 20,000 accounts and 600,000 transactions within three months by August 2026. Applications such as KaChat are also helping generate real transaction activity across the ecosystem.
The KAS price still trades far below its all-time high
Even after the recovery, Kaspa remains a long way from its peak. The KAS price is still a long way from its all-time high near $0.21, sitting about 82.5% to 86.5% below that peak. But the gap has started to narrow. KAS has climbed from around $0.03 to $0.03749, cutting the drawdown from roughly 86.5% to 82.5%.
The next hurdle is now pretty clear. If buyers can get the KAS price through the $0.038–$0.04 resistance zone and hold above it, the next targets at $0.06256 and $0.07527 could come into play. That would give Kaspa’s recovery plenty more room to run.
If the market cools off first, support around $0.032 and the moving-average zone near $0.029 should be closely watched. For now, the KAS price remains above key moving averages, the breakout structure remains intact, market capitalization has crossed $1 billion, and nearly all of the network’s supply is already in circulation. The battle for $0.04 is now the level that matters most.
CoinCodex’s 1-month KAS price prediction places the token around $0.04354. That forecast puts the KAS price above its current $0.037–$0.038 range. If buyers can break through the key $0.04 resistance, KAS could have another 15%–17% of upside from here in the coming weeks.
