Let’s have a discussion regarding the different types of sharding. Based on this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxRgm6JAGpQ) we can see that the internet computer and Avalanche are using sharding techniques that they each call subnets. Other blockchains use transaction sharding with a beacon chain (zilliqa) and horizontal sharding (NEAR protocol). Ethereum plans to implement data sharding for L2s only. What do you think the best approach to sharding is? Or do you think sharding is a waste of time, like the Solana devs do?
