The National Secular Society, which funded Coskun’s defence and appeal, said Coskun’s conviction signalled a “a capitulation to Islamic blasphemy codes”.
Together with the Free Speech Union, the NSS is supporting Coskun’s opposition to the CPS’s appeal.
