Web traffic to Crypto exchanges continues to decline

The number of web traffic received by the various crypto exchanges available across the world declined by 8% in January 2022, representing a negative outlook for the third consecutive month.

According to Block Research, a digital assets insights provider, the online traffic stats for January is 426.7 million, representing a 38.5 million reduction from the total amount of visitors welcomed in December.

The study also found that Binance got around 33.2 % of the web traffic volume generated. Coinbase and Bybit rank second and third respectively with 18.1% and 6.6%, respectively.

Owing to the gloomy outlook of the market, a lot of naive investors have temporarily abandoned the crypto space, and this most likely led to the drop in web traffic throughout the last few months. As proceedings look to be grinding back to standard levels, we expect the traffic stats to improve over time.
