XRP Rebounds As Softer Fed Bets Revive Demand

XRP climbed as much as 6.6% in the latest session, briefly trading near $1.45 as softer U.S. labor data encouraged investors to price in a more accommodative Federal Reserve. The move put the token back above a closely watched support area after its pullback from an August high near $1.70.

Price indices differed slightly on the spot price during the rally, with XRP quoted between $1.44 to $1.45. The broader picture is clearer: trading activity accelerated, and the token joined a market-wide rebound in risk assets as expectations for lower rates gained traction.

Fed expectations lift a fragile technical setup

Weakness in employment-related data, including softer-than-expected ADP payroll growth and a rise in jobless claims, fed expectations that the Fed could adopt a less restrictive policy path. That helped lift major cryptocurrencies, with XRP’s daily volume reported in the $4 billion to $5.5 billion range.

Technically, XRP remains caught in a descending triangle formed after August’s rally from about $1 to $1.70. Analysts highlighted the $1.35 to $1.38 area as key support, reinforced by the nearby 200-day moving average around $1.33 to $1.35.

A sustained move above $1.55 to $1.60 could put the August peak back in focus. But a break below $1.33 would weaken the recovery case and leave XRP exposed to lower support zones around $1.23 to $1.25. Targets as high as $2, or even $10, remain speculative rather than near-term market expectations.

Wealth managers are asking more questions

The rally coincided with signs of growing professional interest. Ryan Rasmussen, a Bitwise research analyst, said XRP drew more questions than any other cryptocurrency during a presentation to roughly 400 wealth managers covering assets including Bitcoin, Solana, stablecoins and tokenization.

That curiosity should not be mistaken for confirmed inflows. A companion poll found that 67% of attendees had no crypto allocation, although 60% expected prices to rise by the end of 2026 and said they intended to allocate within a year.
