B Strategy, a digital asset investment firm created by former Bitmain executives, announced a $1 billion BNB treasury launch in the United States. The treasury will focus on holding and managing BNB, the native token of Binance, priced at $862.26 at press time.
The new BNB treasury is backed by YZi Labs, the family office of Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ). The structure of the treasury will follow the model of 10X Capital, which earlier launched a similar BNB treasury with YZi Labs’ participation.

YZi Labs Expands Role in BNB Treasuries
YZi Labs, formerly called Binance Labs, is led by Ella Zhang and overseen by CZ. The family office has already supported earlier BNB treasury projects.
In July 2025, 10X Capital raised $250 million with YZi Labs’ backing. The funds were allocated to build a reserve of BNB for long-term holding.
According to B Strategy, the new treasury will replicate this model on a larger scale. “We plan to collaborate with a US-listed company through a private placement,” a spokesperson said.
“Following the capital injection from this placement, the listed company will purchase BNB, transitioning its business model to holding and managing BNB assets as a treasury entity.”
B Strategy Positions BNB Treasury Between US and Asia
B Strategy highlighted its plan to create links between US and Asian markets through the BNB treasury. The spokesperson noted, “We aim to serve as a bridge between the US and Asian markets.”
The company pointed out rising demand from Asian investors seeking access to US-listed companies that hold BNB treasuries. This arrangement allows investors to gain exposure to BNB through traditional stock structures.
The cross-market design reflects the expansion of treasury companies built around BNB as a reserve asset.
BNB Treasuries Show Varied Market Reactions
BNB is the fourth-largest cryptocurrency, with a market capitalization of $120.3 billion, according to Cointelegraph indexes. The token is central to the Binance ecosystem, used for transaction fees, staking, and governance.
Companies adopting BNB treasuries have shown different market outcomes. CEA Industries saw its shares jump 550% after announcing a BNB treasury plan. Meanwhile, BMB Network Company raised $500 million for its BNB treasury vehicle, which was oversubscribed in its most recent round.
These developments show both strong participation and varied results in the BNB treasury sector.
Ownership concentration plays a key role in the BNB market. Forbes reported in June 2024 that CZ controls about 64% of the total BNB supply. This underscores the central role of YZi Labs and its supported BNB treasuries in shaping demand and market dynamics for the token.
